Mark Smithyes to Lead Life Sciences Practice Group as National Director

Delphic Research Group is pleased to announce that Mark Smithyes has joined the team as National Director, Life Sciences.  

Mark represents the perfect blend of sectoral knowledge, entrepreneurial experience, and innovative leadership necessary to support our mission. With more than 25 years of senior-level experience with multinational innovative life science companies, such as Novartis and Alcon, as well as his work building numerous start-up ventures, Mark has demonstrated an incredible capacity to help organizations succeed.

Mark is currently Chair of the Board of Life Sciences Ontario, as well as a member of Endeavour’s Board of Directors, a Canadian charity committed to expanding organizational capacity and community impact of other charities and non-profits. Mark is on the faculty at the University of Toronto’s Master of Biotechnology program and holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and the Schulich School of Business. His years of experience within the life sciences sector, both within companies as well as a visible champion promoting the industry’s role in improving the lives of patients and health systems, will help him lead Delphic Research’s efforts to deepen its impact within this important practice area.
